2006 coupe with performance pkg. That means no Brembos. Spoke to two Infiniti dealerships; 1 said 17s are fine, the other said that standard 17" wheels are too small and would not clear the brakes.

Any have a definitive answer for me?

I'm buying some new winters, and would rather run them on smaller wheels; it's more cost effective and probably better in snow.

My friend has 18 on his and i just text him and he says that stock 17 could fit. If you want 17 on them i say test fit it be be sure.

 

Just got another text from my friend. He says now he cant be positivey say stock 17 will fit the brembos. But he says some do come stock 17

 

Some won't fit with Brembo's without modifying the calipers, OP doesn't have the Brembos though.
