Alarm question

I know this is sorta a tech question but i didn't want to put it in the tech section since its a general question.

which alarm system would you install on your g?

i installed the auto innovatio one, love it but don't get it if you need a strong alarm system. Only get it if you like the whole push button and proximity sensor.

its not a weak alarm, but its not a better ALARM compared to the factory one. its not a good buy if the reason your looking for an alarm is extra security

was wondering where you got it installed, diamond bar isn't too far away but not a quick drive

its not that the security sucks on it, its not an alarm i would pick if my main priority for upgrading was security. Its a lot louder than stock when the alarm goes off but it doesn't have any extra security features compared to stock. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions regarding the system

I got it installed at whistle stop in covina, pm me if you do end up going there and i can refer you.

I have the viper 5902 on my G. I love it thus far and I've had it installed for about 6 months. I put the proximity sensor on it too which goes off a tad more than I'd like (just need to adjust the sensitivity). The additional options/functionality of the viper are amazing. You can add so many additional sensors (if you'd really like but it can cause more false alarms) and customize it just how you'd like. The 1 mile range of the two way FOB is nice. I never feel afraid of anyone getting near my car.

I even had 5 cars get broken into a few weeks ago at work when I was on the night shift, my car was parked between two of them and never got touched. The nice blue light may have been a big factor but I would have been out there in 2 seconds if my FOB went off in my pocket.

My only minor complaint is that you have to hold the trunk pop button for about 2-3 seconds before it releases. Very minor if you ask me.
