So i have a 2003 g35 coupe with HID's.... i always see other 03 coupes driving around with both the low beams and high beams on at the same time... and before someone says "they just have high beams on...." i mean the high beams arent very bright... but just on with the low beams to give more visability.... i was curious if there was a way i could do that to my coupe?

Um... how the hell do you have both your high and low beams on at the same time? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they aren't supposed to work at the same time. Are you talking about having your headlights and taillights on simultaneously?

I thought they were d2r hid. But I think op means both low beams and fogs. High/low beams are in the top housing and fogs are in the lower I believe. But when you get your high beams on it turns your fogs off and keeps your lows on. When you have fogs on its both lows and fogs

...
the top are HID's the bottoms are regular non HID in the 03's atleast in mine they are... stock....

i was under the impression that when i switch on the high beams... the bottom part of the headlight shines bright for the highs... and the low beams stay on as well... atleast thats what i see when i flip my high beams on.... but what im asking in my original post is how to get the high beam to not only always stay on... (aside from keeping the high beam switch on lol) and i wasnt sure if you could swap the high beam bulbs out with something that isnt as bright... so i could actually drive with them on at all times... and have more visability.....

srtr..... they only come on the 06's?

similar to the picture below....
