hey im looking for a place to get black side markers for an 03 coupe... ive looked around on these fourms but cant find a good thread with any info. anyone have a website link maybe for this?

There's this uber JDM parts store named Lowe's. Just tell them you want the Nissan JDM black sidemarker coating. Looks something like this.

One option if you really want black side markers is for you to just Vht night shade a few coats on the clear corners for a black look. Or basically check ebay as there are tons of options there. Put " 2003 infiniti g35 coupe black side marker " in the search field of ebay.

 

there are some aftermarket ones that come black and arent to bad im using them now on my car just google black side marker g35 and it should come up

 

I think I came across a pair. But only the housing was black, meaning it looked black on the inside with a clear plastic on the outside, so at daytime it looks black and with the lights on` white.

thanks for the info, im quite aware of the spray but honestly i didnt think anyone would do that to their car. dont get me wrong ive used it before but yeah ive used it before and would much rather find the full black replacements. Good one tho, you are one step closer to hitting your next rank on a fourm. Im also trying to find if anyone has ever taken the orange piece out of the headlights to replace it with clear or even black as well?

Please don't buy those cheap ebay crap. Made the mistake my first time to save money. They look decent but are built like ****. After a carwash/rain/any water, they'll let water in and they'll condense and end up looking like crap, and the fitment isn't spot on. Threw them in the trash a week later and bought real authentic nissan ones instead.

 

-2 for eBay corners. The leak water inside like a biitch!
If you're gonna buy them off eBay make sure they are Nissan/JDM corners.

If you want the eBay ones i have a set for free, just pay for shipping and take them.

 

I got mine (white/clear though) from ebay. They were like $20. Fitment is as good as OEM and I've never seen them leak. They appear to have the same build quality as my stockers. Maybe I just got lucky.

 

you could check amazon, i just purchased my clear corners from there and they are a perfect fit.....

 

Thanks guys, i looked on ebay and found some, also a guy from a local fourm had another site for them and they are OEM fit just black. oh and i dont even know what your name is but the first guy who post in here.. i am pretty sure this was a G35 fourm, also pretty sure a fourm is used to gain info, also that this is the general chat room for my car... but regardless sorry i hurt your feelings.

 

i have the normal orange side markers but i have some left over VHT nightshade. would that work with just a few light coats? or do i need to get the clear ones for it to work well?
