I think I'm going to end up keeping this car for a long time since it does not make sense to sell it for 7k with all the goodies I got on it.
I don't want to think about when I have to pull the stereo eventually... That is gonna suck! But I'm not giving away 1K worth of a 4080, JL components, and HU

Buying a car and not driving it to keep the miles down. is like getting a girlfriend and not ****ing her so the next guy will enjoy her more.

No, it's like having two girlfriends. And that is two girls that don't care which one you want to ride in tonight... today... or even have both of them the same day.

You can ride one hard and put her away wet, and save the other one for when you want a nice, slow ride and show her off.

If one of them is down for mods, you still have the other one. Ever have to send parts off to the powdercoater? Or mid project and find a part you need to order? Or want to do a long project that is going to have the car down for a while? Always nice to have a spare.

Wink

153,389 and she's officially a 1/2 qt. every <500 miles burner absolutely no leaks.... i curse the previous owner for lack of common sense about car maintenance... i love the car reguardless. just purchased:
-front d&p outer tire (tie?) rods
-rear d&p rotors and pads
- front lower d&p control arm bushings and ball joints
- megan racing resonated test pipes (no emissions in my county )
i need to purchase:
-front and rear to subframe differential bushings
- center bearing for driveshaft
-knock sensor and subharness
-rear d&p wheel hubs
and i need my alignment done once suspension parts are installed

eventually i'm getting her painted and tinted but i'd rather fix the repairs first then work on cosmetic fixes.

any suggestions on good part sites that aren't expensive or has anyone purchased any of the parts listed under my need to purchase list and have advice/info they could give me. thanks in advance!!!

-allie

My first 03' G35 coupe had 140k before I sold it. Had no problems at all other than wanting a new ride.. and I drove the hell out of that thing. My daily is now a '10 G37, but I would love to buy another one soon when the price is right :]

52K miles now, bought it at 43K last year. just had my first "failure", dragging rear brake caliper. However I "could" have damaged it when changing brake pads last year when compressing the piston.... maybe.
