Driveway

Every time I back out from my driveway, it scratches the underbody of my car. Theres no exterior damage, except for one area on the lower, right side. There's no more paint on the area, and the area is pretty big. My parents already complained to the city, but THEY WILL NOT FIX IT because we are the corner house so it's been designed for the rain to come down.

If I upgraded my 17s (wheels) to 19s (wheels) then do you think it will help with this dillema I am in?

exact same thing happend to me when i back out of my garage. Its funny cause it doesnt happen when i pull in cause of the angle i pull in at. At first I thought I was scraping the front lip but turns out that its only that black plastric piece under my car that noone sees. It still sux to hear that sound whenever i pull out

If you upgrade to 18" or 19", the overall ride height should remain the same......
By going to a larger size rim, you only shorten the side wall of the tire.....I.E. 225x55x17 is almost the same size as 245x45x18
If you don't keep the same stagger within 3% of the original sizes, you will probably run into VDC/ABS problems.....
