Replaced battery now the only thing that work is the break lights and dinger bell.
I'm getting ready to deploy and I was trying to get my g35 in a reliable running state. Well long story short I replaced the battery for corrosion reasons along with the positive terminal.
After the replacement nothing but the brake lights and door dinger works. I check for voltage at the hot spots.
> Battery is putting out around 13.1 volts
> Ipdm input lead is putting out 13.1 as well
> The fuses for the ignition on ipdm are good. Along with the relays.
There is one problem I found. There is no electricity at the ignition fuse. "The ignition fuse located by the battery in that fuse block, nor is there any electricity going to any fuses on the block."
After messing around with it for a few hours I decided to come here and ask if anyone knows what it could be or help me out with a wire diagram.
Sorry for just posting a thread but I wouldn't post if I didn't need the help![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks for your time, -Matt

So you checked all the fuses in the fuse block attached to the positive battery terminal to make sure none of them popped while reconnecting the battery? I think there might be a master fuse in there that protects all of the other fuses. It sounds like you know what you're doing, so I assume you know our cars have 2 fuse clusters(at least it seems you know this, if I read your initial post right)... the one inside the car on the drivers side plastic molding near where your left foot rests, and the other one is in the engine bay attached to the positive battery cable.
My buddy blew a fuse in that engine-bay fuse block on his G35 Sedan when he tried to jump his car and accidentally (and stupidly) reversed the cables to the wrong battery terminals. In his case, the car would start, but like half of his dashboard was nonfunctional.

Correct I know about the two fuse block or clusters. Everything seemed to check out on the IPDM. I'm thinking its either the ignition switch on the ignition tumbler itself or something between the under hood fuse block and IPDM. Though I cannot put my finger on what it is exactly. Nor can I find a decent wiring diagram. Maybe someone can shine some light on this?
Also yeah I spelled brake wrong in the thread title.

ahhh I'll bet you tripped the security feature. I can't remember how to disable it. Someone once said to unlock the door with your actual key.
