Not at all. Just remove license plate, and newspaper and tape around the diffuser and just plastidip the whole thing. It will look like CRAP the first couple of layers. Like random spray here and there, but after like the 10th layer (lol) it will look good trust me. (even with 10 layers i only needed 1 can of plastidip (like $6 @ lowe's). Easy job and makes a nice difference

im gonna be dipping my DG coupe tomorrow. getting the emblems, front grille and rims done tomorrow then the rear diffuser next week. cant wait to get that done and upload some pics
