Tires for '06 G Coupe

Currently shopping for some new tires, thought I'd check in with the community before I buy anything. I'm mostly looking to save money, I don't need performance tires, just reliable ones. I have the 19" wheels with the sport-tuned suspension.

Any opinions on these?

I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks guys.

The new Michelin Super Sports with a UTQG of 300 would be my choice if I were looking for new rubber....Gary

I have the Continental ExtremeContact DW (not to be confused with the DWS - which is the all season version of the tire) and I absolutely love them.

Ride is great and performance is there - in both dry and wet conditions. They are much beefier than regular tires but since you're stock you'll be fine. I just stated that for anyone who reads this post.

I got the Hankook V12's and love them. They perform well in both wet and dry conditions and they are well priced.

Awesome, thanks guys. Both of those mentioned are on tirerack.com for a good price so I'll probably end up going with one of them. I just moved to Los Angeles and don't know where to take it. I had a great mechanic at home for so many years, so I've never needed anyone else. Any suggestions for companies that are most trusted?

I have Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. There are better tires out there such as the Michelins suggested above, but for the money you can't go wrong with the Hankooks.

I've been going to John at City Tire as well for years, great guy..he has a nice G35 himself and a fully tracked out 350z.

I'm on Yokohama S. Drives right now, which I really liked, and I'm considering going with the Hankook V12 Evos when I change them out.

Falken FK-452 or Bridgestone RE760 are good street tires with good treadwear so you don't have to replace them every 6mo.

Tire Rack is a good place, unless you're connected here in SoCal....=oD

Terrance, which part of L.A. did you move to? Check our Regional Forum under SoCal, at the top is a sticky of recommended shops. It's a great place to look, no one's going to recommend a shop where the results weren't perfect....Good Luck!

Check out www.simpletire.com

There are a bunch of different tires, some I have never heard of. These guys have really good pricing for a bunch of their stuff.
