$30 temporary black headliner - pictures

Whats going on fellas. So I am getting my headliner suede wrapped in the a few weeks and decided to test the waters with some spray cans to give me a rough idea of how it's gonna change the feel of the car. bought some vinyl spray paint, took apart the headliner and all the pieces and got to work. Not gonna lie but it came out much better than I ever expected it to. Im still getting it wrapped regardless but if someone doesnt have the money to wrap, i think this is a sick alternative and fairly easy as long as you take your time and not rush with heavy coats. Sh.tty iphone pics but you get the idea.

The interior definitely feels "warmer" and more compact, im loving it for sure. As far as durability goes, the fabric is really durable since youre basically dying it. What I did notice, which was expected, is that the fabric became a little harder, not as soft as oem was, but if you apply light coats, it will remain softish. The plastics durability on the other hand is garbage. The plastics chip easily which is why im getting them done professionally

as long as you do light coats it'll turn out fine. the visors got a stiffer feel to them but not too far off from oem.
