So I woke up this morning to take my daughter to school like any other day. Remote wasn't working to unlock the doors so I figured I needed to replace the battery. Unlocked the door with the key and woke up to a nasty smell and this..

Didn't want to start a new thread so I guess this will be my farewell to the board. Car was picked up this morning. Just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful G community. I've learned lots and loved having a place to go to show my ride and have some good ol' car talk. Enjoy your G's and hope this never happens to anybody else!

Do you guys think I would get more money for stock 18's with brand new snow tires? Or Rays 19's with probably 25% tread left. I have both pairs, I guess it would be ideal if I could get rid of both.

 

Snow is mostly gone now (I know here in CO we're scheduled to get like .03 of an inch on Thursday, although this state snows all the way through May). Depending on who's looking at the time, you could probably get more for the OEM 18's w/ snow tires.

That looks crazy tho. LIke you said, good thing nobody was in the car when it happened. Hope you get everything straightened out. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to check mine really fast.

Luckily it did, they said if a window was open it would've spread over the whole car and maybe got to the house. Started posting stuff for sale in the classifieds for those interested.

 

I kid you not after reading this thread a few days ago I had a dream my G caught fire in my garage and started burning my garage down.
