Very homosexual to me because anyone can just tap on your trunk or hood and know it's not real carbon fiber. SAVE UP AND BUY THE REAL CHET!

Definitely not something I would do to my car but if you think it will look good then go for it.

Lol. This was not directed at anyone. Unless you are just here to talk ****. I literally have read through almost every post on this forum... And on every one of them... There is always some good input... And some posers... Just on here to chat. Anyways. My only fear of doing all the carbon is#1... the look. I don't wanna throw out 2500$ just to find out I don't like it. And with the hoods... I don't like not being able to use my struts and having to mess w the latch setup and pin the hood... Just to see what it looks like. Let alone the roof. I just wanna see what it looks like. And if someone is close enough to tap my car to see if it is real... They are way too close. My ride goes from my garage... Across town to work... Also privately garaged... And back home. Like the BatMobile. Haha. I literally have had someone tell me about my car and this one time they saw it. But. As soon as it is done. I think I will take it out more. Honestly. I don't even remember what it's like to drive... Sad huh. But... I drive brand new cars fora living. So it's not been too bad. Anyways. Like I said... Thanks for the goo input. What's the closest major G venue to me. Grand Junction colo

Since you've read almost every post on this forum I'm sure you're aware there are certain words that attract "****". As I'm sure you also know, anyone that's going to stir "****" will also be attracted to text typing, lots of "....", and pompous attitudes. Just be yourself, ask a question and don't add embellishment to try to be cool.

As far as the CF, you never know until you try it out. (You could also Photoshop it and see what you think)

Your poor choice of words for the title and your last 2 responses aren't helping your case any either, there's no need to get all defensive. Like others have said its really your choice and not ours.

My general thought would be to get real CF or not bother.

Plus, if your car is basically stock looking, you have a lot of things that should be done first. CF should be used to compliment a nicely modded car, and not as a decoration for a stock one. (pics would help out here)

Also.. people may look at your car and say "Is that real CF?" Then you have to look them in the eye and say "err.. No.." . Then you will know the look of shame.

I have a cf hood, trunk etc. but mine are real, and on an IP coupe...I would only go a wrap route if that piece is not made in production...3M makes a new GLOSS cf vinyl now which is in my opinion, awesome. I've used their previous "di-noc" before to wrap grills and everything, but that had a dry carbon look, and yes it is an actual weave for those who haven't seen it...Not sure what product you're goin with, but make sure it's 3M!!

Lmao. Obviously you can't or haven't read this. My car is far from stock. I'm not planning on keeping it on for months or years!!! I am putting it on so that I can see if the CF will look good on my particular car. If it does. Real parts will be ordered. But thanks for your .02 cents.
