i ordered a DG 6MT/prem/aero from the dealer, but i'm really starting to like the pearl ivory color.

can you guys post pictures of each (unmodded) to help me make up my mind. also, if you're an owner of one of those colors, can you let me know what is good/bad about the color (i.e you can see chips easily in the PI).

also, is it worth waiting another month to get the color i want?

 

I have been fighting myself between this for a long time because IPs can be sweeeet looking when fixed up right...but since I won't be touching my car except for tint...I decided my long love of the DG color is the way to go even though its played out a bit, I don't care it's my car and I'll drive what makes me happy. You should do the same...

G/L, you really can't lose with any of the colours, it's just a matter of preference.

 

I'm very unhappy that you can't order IP with Graphite interior anymore because I always liked the contrast of it. So that's one thing for you to consider if you want the black leather. Also, I wouldn't personally wait an extra month and I'm sure you'll love whatever color you end up getting, but if I were you, I'd go back to the dealer and look at DG and IP side by side and take my pick. I love how DG looks with the 19".

 

Man Forget that go with Carib Blue. Its off the hook you also see green and purple in it.

 

I would only want a white car to have an ebony/graphite interior in it.

That said, I would have gotten a white G35 Coupe if I didn't live in an area with a lot of rain and snow (which means salted/sanded roads and just generally muddy, dirty conditions that mean it would have to be cleaned really often to look good and I don't have the time or patience for that right now).

So I got Diamond Graphite which shows dirt the least and looks fairly clean even when it's dirty. =)

 

I think all the colors in infiniti's line up are nice......
I, myself, love the darker colors.....I think they reflect more light, so the finish always looks like a mirror....
However, since I do not garage my car, I went with Ivory Pearl for several reasons...
easier to keep clean...doesn't show dust/dirt as quick
It reflects the heat better
doesn't show as much chip marks/scratches/swirl marks as the darker colors.....

I have always been partial to white cars. I would have preferred a non pearlized white but didn't have a choice with Infiniti. However, I would NEVER have gotten the IP if not for the Graphite interior. Now that the Graphite is no longer offered with the IP, I would have to think long and hard for a second color. I will never be a slave again to the light interiors, stone and wheat. I've had too many issues with the dye coming off from my Jeans and belt to the leather.However, lf you are considering the IP remember that you will be quite unique as the total IP's sold were the least sold next to Carribean Blue.

 

doesn't anyone like silver with black anymore??? i agree that the ivory pearl looks great with the black interior. infiniti should not have discontinued that color combination.
