Buying is exhaust is exhausting!! Help me!!

I'm going to pull the trigger and get exhaust this week... I was originally going to get the ARK grip but now I'm thinking Motordyne tdx is the way to go... I'm currently running stock exhaust, mrev2, 5/16 iso, and berk hfc.... Just hard to spend 1500+ on exhaust but everything else just seems like junk or sounds ricery!! Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

tdx2 + art pipes or save your money and keep it stock. worth every penny. had mine for 6 months and havent looked back and wont unless motordyne comes out with a new one.

Really depends on your taste and what you're willing to spend and your goals. Is the MD setup the best power wise for our cars? Pretty much. Sound is completely relative, make sure you hear these exhausts in person before you buy. Is it worth it? Up to you, 1500+ could instead go for lighter wheels or towards something like a supercharger or turbo setup where it would gain you much more but it depends on what you want.

+ 1...if you don't want to spend that much money on an exhaust get something else like a knockoff. It's up to you though.

I live in Colorado not to many G or Z with MD exhaust+Berks... I've watched a ton of videos... Doesn't count but I guess its better than nothing...

I have a Ark V2 with ART pipes and i love it. The only thing I dislike about the ARK is that you get the extensions (Since it's a 350z exhaust also). I'd rather my exhaust have as little places that leaks could occur as possible. But i still love my ark. If i could do it over though, I would of done Motordynes exhaust too.

Also, Berk HFC + Ark rasps like CRAZY. I hated it, I'll never go back to Berks. I'd rather have my stock cats honestly.

Motordyne.

MD pretty much owns every other exhaust and it's not even JDM, yo!.

Check out Fast Intentions Intimidator (+ art pipes)... thats going to be my exhaust when I can get off the wallet.

I like FI because it keeps the stock note, just slightly deeper and a bit louder. Not ricey or ridiculous like most of them. My second choice is MD.

Any system you buy from MotorDyne will have the best quality and yield more RWHP than other systems available. My concern for you is the Berk's hfcs, like mine they will eventually fail. It's a shame we have to lose what we spent only to look for other alternatives, OE cats or ART pipes....Gary

what about FI high flow cats and FI catback? that combo been tested?

hopefully that isnt a raspy combo for as much as the stuff costs lol

to the OP, i have the same problem. i want an exhaust and high flow cats as well but catbacks for this car cost some serious coin. I want the high flow cats mainly for the easy 10 horses they claim to add... Not really sure what the cat back exhaust systems tend to add to these cars as far as power is concerned.

I would go with either the HKS or MD TDX. The only reason I like the MD tdx more is because of the sound and the HKS x-crossover pipe is quite restrictive.

It's rather interesting that when I first bought my berks everybody praised the heck out of them! Now they are junk! I'm probably going to just get the tdx2 MD and replace the berks later down the road with md art... This is not my dd and I can deal with rasp for a while. Just sad that MD tdx is 500 more than ark!!!
