Hey everyone, my cluster went out about a month ago, the gauges don't work and the lights dont either. I took it to a electrician to check if it was a fuse or a relay of some sore, and this guy knows what he is doing. He pretty much told me my cluster is done for and I need a new one. Ive looked around and found some reasonable prices but its the mileage that throws me off. My G has about 89K and everyone i find has 100K + & from what i have heard that cant be reprogrammed. Any suggestions?

 

Try your local Infiniti/Nissan wrecking yard, they have a nation wide network and should be able to find you a cluster with low miles. Other than buying one from the stealership I don't know what other options you'd have. Before bought one I'd check with a Nissan tech to make sure there isn't a correction/fix for yours....Gary

 

i say buy the 100k ones but dont install it until ur near that mileage (keep track manually of course) i mean ur close to it anyway

 

Most cars now keep the mileage data on the ECU. Changing the cluster with one that was in a car with 100K miles does not mean that your car will then say it has 100K miles too, it should still tell you the mileage on YOUR car.
