Additional step on DIY transmission change??

Ok, since there is over 10 qts of transmission fluid, I have a question. The DIY recommends doing 6. Just suggestion adding a step. After you drain pan and refill and flush another 2.5 quarts from the cooler, would it beneficial to add another 2.5 quarts to the pan, and continue to flush another 2.5 quarts? The last little bit didnt seem to be as red as what I was putting in? It wouldnt take much more time, just turning car off, adding the fluid and starting it again, and refilling.

Ok, I am open to flaming!!! There are some simple steps I would add to this incredibly great video!!! Measure before you start...... And measure as you are filling, quart by quart... And possibly doing an additional 2.5 quarts as you are doing a flush.... One thing that would of helped my DUMB a** would of been to measure the quarts as I added the fluid back, after I lowered the car!!!!!
