For front 254/40/19, use front rim or get rears?

I'm looking to go wider on the front, but the oem 19" rim is 8".

For a 245/40, better to throw them on that rim or look to swap my fronts for another coupe's rears?

I was thinking maybe a sedan owner with coupe 19's might want all the same sizes.

With OE front 19" rims you could run 245/35s, out back I wouldn't go any larger than 275/35s. Members have gone larger but there's no advantage....Gary

I'll run 245/40's, the 35's are too short coupled with 275/35's.

Was curious how 245 look on 8" rims.
