Coupe spoiler survey!!!
Stock simply due its functionality. Has anyone tested these aftermarket ones to see if they actually work? Also, someone should come out with a lip spoiler with inegrated 3rd brake LED. That would be hot.
hi
Stock is a curvy whale tail with a low height to width ratio. It seems a little to big for the G but because it is stock, it immediately identifies the G, score a point for it. The after market spoilers seem to follow two basic designs. A flat or strait edge vs a curved edge. I think a curved edge looks best on the curvy G and the stock spoiler emphasizes that aspect of the G.
It would be best to see them in person before settling on one, but the Ing seems to reinforce the esthetics of curves where the Illusion spoiler emphasizes flatness and angularity, point for Ing. The Ing seems to stick up farther than the Illusion and the Illusion scores a point for better proportions. The Illusion and stock spoiler have the advantage of making the G look more squat and lower to the ground. Point for them. Ing = 1 point. Illusion = 2 points. Stock = 2 points.

Color of your G makes a big difference also, IMO stock spoiler only looks good on ligher colors : IP, DG, BS, etc. On darker colors like black or mb it doesn't really flow. Stock spoiler is just too long doesn't loook good at all. My vote goes to the illusion/data system spoiler on a black G, looks better than any IMO ( or no wing at all ). Lighter colors, the stock looks good
I like my spoilerdepot.com lip spoiler. Really subtle yet classy. It looks as if it could have been a factory spoiler. In fact, a salesman at my local dealer asked me if I bought it from infiniti.
