Found this while researching: Google Latitude App.

You have to pay $5 for the apps, but it is free after that (aside from monthly 9.99 extra line phone bill).

Good idea. I'm in Canada so not sure how much a second line will be compared to at&t. I guess I'll look into it.

Interesting concept. A cheap data only prepaid SIM would work in an older iPhone 3G. Unlock it and jailbreak and you have a nice tracker.
