Im installing my boyo rearveiw camera and I need to know we're is the reverse wire at and what color is it.been searching and some say it's in the passenger side kick panal some say the driverside and some say it's tge purple wire and others say its the orange wire lol.who here has installed one of these cameras or know what and were the wires at?

So I just tap one of the wires that's connected to the reverse Light bulb?

I don't have anyone to put my car in gear while I test it with my multimeter lol.i got a 6mt

 

you don't have to start the car, put it in reverse and turn the ign on, don't start..the reverse light will come on

 

Hahaha I figured that out already I had a blonde moment when I typed that yesterday

 

Its brown... i dont remember exactly where its located but i think its off the navi harness.
