The Transgo shift kit as you implied is a mod to the valvebody of the 5at trans.It dramatically decrease's the time it takes to shift for the auto trans and it is a must for anyone going the FI route.During normal driving its a litlle bit harder then stock but when you get on it the trans shifts hard and fast.

 

Ahhhh, sounds like it is a good mod for a AT. By any chance would you know how hard the install is? or if there is anything that is needed post install?

 

It's a pretty hard install. Unless you're really comfortable digging into your trans and taking it all apart, i'd take it to a shop.

 

Its not to hard only about 6 parts and one taping.

But its the time it takes.
You have to be very meticulous
