A question for g35 with built motors...

Did this stop your oil consumption problem if you had the problem to begin with?

I'm thinking of a new short block and just getting my heads replenished but want to make sure its worth it...

I hear some people are blaming the oil consumption problem on the camshaft cover and pvc designs and some people blaming it on the cattylic converter. Never really hear about the piston rings or valve seals.

My car has no smoke no noise and no smell. Just burns a lot of oil.

Thanks.

Oil consumption is caused from bad piston rings, while the leaking valve cover problem is just the seals in the valve cover going bad. The two are unrelated. Rebuilding the short block will fix the problem.
