7500 Mile Service Neccessary?

Just made an appt. for my oil change and the tech told me that I'm due for my 7500 mile service. I asked him what they do and he said they top off all the fluids, checks brakes for uneven wear, check transmission, tires, etc. It costs $189. That's a lot of money. Is this service really necessary?

No, just follow the ScheduleII to get an oil change done. You can even check your
own fluids.

yeah, but sometimes if anything does go wrong in ur car, the dealership could claim that it's cause you didnt get their recommended service and u coudl be in trouble down the line cause they may not cover ur repairs, so just be careful about that

Mine cost about $39 at the dealer in Cerritos, Ca.
They're trying to bone you!

If you have a good Nissan dealer in the area talk tot he service manager. The one here services Infiniti as if it were their own!
