I just got off the phone with my local Infiniti dealership. For my 2004 Coupe with 49,600 miles, they quoted me $1483+tax for the Infiniti Elite 2 YR 24,000 miles zero deductable. Over 50,000 miles jumps to $1900+. I do approximately 5,000 miles a year as this is my second car. Do these numbers sound right?

give Courtney a call, she's the lowest anywhere. if she gives u a lower price, you can see if your dealership will match it. if not just buy it from Courtney since you can buy from any infiniti dealership. just make sure you don't pass 50k before you purchase it.

Thanks for the info. I'll give her a call.

I just read that Scottsdale Infiniti cannot sell the extended warranties here in Florida. Go figure!

I found out today that the Infiniti Rep from financing gave me misinformation about the extended Elite Infinti Warranty. Here in Florida, an owner cannot buy an extended warranty from the same company twice. That may be the reason that Scottsdale Infiniti cannot sell a warranty to me. The only warranty available is a 3rd party warranty which I am definitely not doing. I guess I'll be on my own without any warranty in the next 30 days. Too bad, because the Elite was a great deal for me for the last 4 years. If anyone has different info please let me know. Thanks all.

I have finally received the accurate info on the warranty for my 2004. I can get a 2year Infiniti Elite with zero deductable for $1483 or a 3 year for a little over $2,000. I'm debating whether I should go for the 3 year. Tomorrow April 1st, the rates go up. Also, once my car reaches 50,000 (now at 49,620) the premium increases $500+. I'm on my way to Infiniti to secure the warranty today.

Well, i got mine before I hit 70K miles, but I was also under my old warranty.

Once you warranty expires, and you want to get another one, you'll need to pass the inspection, to make sure nothing is wrong with your car. If you pass, then you can buy another 2-3 year plan.

I was told that with my 2004, 70K mileage I can get another Elite 24months/24K miles plan for 1350 - which is what I got.

So not sure what to say about "can't get pass 50K". Maybe you wont be able to get the same plan you wanted, and might have to settle for something shorter period plan.

Yesterday, I purchased a 3 years/36,000 mile Infiniti Elite/zero deductable for my 04 with 49,600 miles for $2028. The 2 year was $1483, but I figured I'd go for the 3rd year which is prorated anyway if I cancel later on.

That was a good price for 2year warranty - but probably because you have low miles.

I decided to go with $100 deductible...hoping I'll never had to use it in the first place (or at least not as often).

The reason I have always taken the zero deductable is due to the numerous times the car goes in for warranty work.

Once I were to hit 50,000 miles the premium would be going up $500! That is why I got it when I did. I'm figuring approximately $700 a year for the next 3 years for a car I've owner for 9 years. How ofter can we be able to get a factory warranty on a car that will eventuallly be 12 years old?
