whats the best set up, slotted or drilled and what pads for brembo

i have a 03 g35 brembo

looking for front and back rotors
apparently stop tech had stopped making drilled as i called the head office
he said because it interferes with the vents inside so he couldn't provide a part number

i was looking for a drilled rotor first off

but may now have to go with just a slotted stoptech
or maybe find some r1's

looking to get hawk steet (f)
or go with the hawk z ceramic
whats your take what do you think works best
low noise low dust

also took a quick look at the ebc rotors but some say they are noisy

im in Ontario Canada i can get some manufactures at cost like ebc, stop tech
thru ekeystone id have to look into the others

let me know if you know any good deals out there around canada or usa that has a good shipping policy
and what set up you think would be best, i do not track it but id like it to look and stop good!

2004 Brembo here

Just installed slotted rotors from powerslot and I'm using Endless brake pads. They did very well at the track and they are just fine for daily driving. Doesn't feel like they need a long warm up period.

Powerslot, Stoptech, and Centric are all the same company, look at the part#s. Prices vary depending on which brand you go with even though it is the same damn part so watch out.

I paid $108.75 USD per Rotor
$240 for front pads
$240 for rear pads, ouch!

I've been running DBA sloted/drilled rotors with HAWK HPS pads for well over a year and love em. I hear members mention the HPSs need to be warmed up but this is my second set in 30K plus miles and I haven't experienced that issue. Maybe by doing the "Bed In" process that HAWK recommends they don't require a warm up....Gary

EBC has rotors that are dimpled (like a golf ball) and slotted so no risk of cracking as with drilled rotors.

thanks, they perform GREAT. rotors aren't gonna stop shorter or anything but they will def fight brake fade off much better. the 2pc fronts save some weight while also allowing the disks to expand w/o warping. DBA's unique inner kangaroo paw venting is very efficient in cooling while remaining strong.

i have priced out thru some venders got there combo prices. biggest thing is shipping and customs fees

but as for what i can get thru myself here are my options

-4 brembos are $732 after tax(drilled)

-4 power slot $455 after tax(slotted)

-4 stop tech $594 after tax (drilled and slotted)

-2 two piece front dba and 2 one piece dba $614 after tax

-4 dba one piece $379 after tax

what rotors would you go with based on price and quality if you were me

im sticking with the hawk ceramic pads less harsh on the rotors and less dust
