Worst case scenerio

what would happen if you remove the plastic covers that are over the front wheels? would water in the rain damage anything?? cause my tire is rubbing on it and its ripping pieces off

I wouldn't remove those because the back of the headlights would be exposed. Why/how is it rubbing?

Those inside covers won't rub unless you have a few bolts missing that hold them on or you're running the wrong tire/wheel offset combination! Are you lowered, if so how much?

trim the piece that rubs.

i know people who don't have fender linings, but their cars are barely driven, and never driven in the rain.

Just cut the top section off.. keep the part in the front and back of the wheel for some protection..

Well if your talking about the inner fender. i would keep it unless you have absolutely no choice. Just think about it, without it, you basically take whatever you run over and throw it at your head light and head light harness.

A new inner fender is cheaper then a new head light harness and any other possible electrical damage.
