Picked-up

Bought a 2004 g35 saturday, pick it up monday . Had to get all nice and clean for me. Been looking for something for a few months now. Since i sold the bike a few weeks ago. And ever since i test drove one a couple months ago. Nothing i have looked at has held a candle since. Just wanted to say hi, seems like one hell of a good forum.

I am also new to the forums, and I have already spent hours reading just about everything you could imagine about the g35.
I bought a '05 coupe last week, and I love it so far.
But, welcome!

I just picked up an 05 Coupe Myself

Bought it about 2 weeks ago (63K miles) and it is has been a love / hate relationship thus far.

I love the car and it is pleasure to drive. I have just ran across all of the common problems and this forum has been a valuable resource in getting them resolved.

My Passenger Window Motor failed last friday, window stuck down in the rain..
Was able to dissemble it and clean it all up and now works as good as new.

Power door locks intermittently work. They don't seem to have enough grunt to move the lock completely. Gonna do the aftermarket modded ones.

Sounds like I have front wheel bearing going out now. Part on order Seems like and easy DIY fix.

Replaced the factory Stereo with a DD HU. Ordered the JDM AC controller and JDM trim plate.

All repairs and upgrades have pretty much gone as described in this forum!

Hopefully this will be the last of it for a while.

That;s a shame about the trouble you ahve been having. But seems that you are handy at getting it fixed so I am sure it will all be back to normal soon =) The JDM AC controller should be a nice touch for the trim too,.

I had the same problems when i bought mine, but i can safely say after i fixed those problems. The g35 has been trouble free.
