A buddy of mine has a z and today he got a "borla"muffler put i think its pointless but it sounds really good and he was saying it adds a few hp

The only reason i would consider going and getting the same thing done is he paid 100 bucks for it and i plan on getting a borla catback exhaust apparently this muffler shop told him he would take 100 bucks off if he decided to get the full exhaust done

Basically is the 100 bucks worth it for a temp change in sound. To me it sounds like a pretty good idea untill i get it done

Well as long as it were legit borla parts it sounds good to me but if i were sure i wouldnt have posted asking for opinions

depends on if you only want it for the sound or for the full exhaust? i mean you can go through so many different routes for your exhaust. Make sure its not about low price either. Do your research find out what works and what doesn't not about what is cheapest.

 

Everyone is so quick to be smartasses on this forum, yes i know how i feel and what i think. Im not the all knowing car genius like everyone else seems to be on here.

Just looking for opinions and a little guidance and who knows someone might post an idea on here i hadn't thought of

 

I had a complete Borla cat-back exhaust, due to the poor quality and so so sound I wouldn't put one on my Honda....lawnmower!

+1 i personally am not fond of the way it sounds, save for a better system like a Nismo axleback/y-back or Invidia's full systems
