Personally, I would try hitting it with force...I found that fixes many things in this car.

Repost in electronics section. I think that the circuit board for the radio, etc. failed. Lots of knowledgeable people on other section.

Mine is under warranty and just had them replace the switch 2 weeks ago. It made the problem better but not fixed. Taking it back tomorrow to have them look at the radio as well. One other odd thing I've noticed is the steering wheel control coincides with my sub getting quiet. I think it's the radio circuit board as well from what I've heard.

The only thing audio wise that got quieter was the bass (which made me think amp). The dealership today called and said it was the audio board and a new radio is on the way.

Since the dealear replaced the audio control board (radio), my steering wheel controls are working correctly again. Hope this helps.

My volume button and Seek/track button stopped responding I changed my stereo to a double din pioneer and added the steering wheel controls. It stopped responding before I changed the stereo. Volume works only when you turn the steering wheel but not when it's straight. My question is was this the part you bought from ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/171122896027... 4.m1423.l2649

or the entire assembly? with turn signal/Wiper?
