It's a big hunk of brass. It's gonna get really hot and hold that heat for a few minutes.

Buddy Club or Revo Technica (both made by the same manufacturer). Not sure how it compares to the Rogue or Nismo, but it works much better than the B&M as it feels just like the stock shifter, and it trims off the height and throw unlike the Rogue.

So it looks like the Rogue SS / Tommy Kaira Knob are the way to go :D
How will the knob handle the summer heat though? |

what other sports cars have you driven?
I have driven an s2000 and owned an 03 evo. and no lie, the g35 feels about 60% longer throw than those cars. It's utterly ridiculous. maybe the s2k and evo are just really short throw cars, but it was perfect. |
my automatic 4 speed honda accord has a shorter throw than the gt3.
what son throw so short, it puts itself into the gates |

Thanks. People on here are saying that the Rogue also shortens the throw and height too :dunno:

Most good shift knobs that are metal (be it brass, titanium, whatever) will come with some sort of boot. If my wife hadn't tossed mine (my bad, it was winter so it was taking up space on the counter) even the relatively cheap ARC replica I got from Tony (formerly OC Infiniti Tony) came with one.
|
unfortunately the TK knob does not come with a boot; you must purchase it separately. Kinda ridiculous for a $200 knob...oh well, I still bought one anyway lol..

If the Revo and BuddyClub are the same should i be fine with getting the Revo? its like $70 on ebay and the BuddyClub is like $160....

They're exactly the same. I usually get the Revo simply because it's slightly cheaper for the same product.
