Cool NISMO or Rogue Short Shifter?

I searched, but couldn't find a good answer. Which one should I go with? Price is about the same.
TIA

I was thinking about getting a short shifter soon as well so I searched and found this topic lol saves me the trouble of making a new one.

Id like to know how people like their short shifters too. Ive been thinking about the Buddy Club one since I have their exhaust and I can have a theme going haha!

a lot of ppl get B&M tho since they are pretty well known for short shifters...

To the original question; I have a rogue short shifter and I love it. Moves through the gears well and doesn't have any extra motion or road feel.

I HAD the B&M shifter.. It was a POS in my opinion. Would jam going into 3rd, and wasn't smooth at all.. just my 2 cents

The stock G35 shifter already has a pretty short throw... is there really any noticeable difference from an aftermarket kit on our cars?

Anytime I hop in my G35 after driving my Tacoma, it feels like there is almost no throw at all in the G's gear lever, and even compared to other sporty cars, the throw is really short in stock form.

I have heard good things about the rogue shifter, but still not sure if I should get it or the Nismo one. Anyone have any reviews on the Nismo one?

what other sports cars have you driven?

I have driven an s2000 and owned an 03 evo. and no lie, the g35 feels about 60% longer throw than those cars. It's utterly ridiculous.

maybe the s2k and evo are just really short throw cars, but it was perfect.

I've got a Rogue and love it. Been in the car for about 2 years now and no complaints with it at all, would definitely recommend it. Feels great, quality component, easy install, good stuff.

Thanks for all the responses. Is it true that the Rogue shifter only shortens the throw, but the Nismo one shortens the height and throw of the shifter? Therefore, wouldn't it be better to have shorter throws AND a shorter shifter height?

I've had my rogue for a couple years now. Absolutely no complaints. I bought it only after doing a ton of research and everyone said it was the best out there (this is pre-TWM).

I'm pretty sure it lowered the shifter height as well.

It's been a while but I seem to remember that c_morse is right, holding the rogue and stock next to each other, the rogue was slightly shorter as well as giving a shorter throw.

Thanks guys. Looks like Rogue is the way to go. After doing some searching around i could only find the shifter for sale directly from rogue. Any other place I can get it from for a more reasonable price maybe ?

These actually went out of production for a while are were really hard to get hands on. Rogue is the only place I know of that sells their shifter, unless you can find one used.
