Statement about exhaust and quarter mile time
I posted a few months back about getting air flow mods from my 2005 G35 automatic. I had said how I liked my Godspeed exhaust....Well..... I'm gonna back pedal and hope that people will listen to me because I did not listen to you. I loved it for a month...liked it for a month...now I am having a new exhaust put on. I hate it now. Don't get one, yoiu will not like it in 4 months. Trust me. I am having the Invidia Gemini put on next Thursday (already paid for it)
On a side note. I did take my car to the track a couple weeks ago and was fairly happy. Apparently the weather was at a number like 2500 (i'm not sure what that meant but the real racers acted like it was bad, and would slow them down from the good weather). It was at San Antonio Raceway. I did 14.69 @ 95mph. My reaction time was a pathetic 0.355

A little vague on the exhaust subject. Don't worry about your reaction time, it's your 60' times that you want to work on since it tells you if your launch needs work. Unfortunately, there's not much you can fix on that since you have an auto.
I did a bracket race and it was the reaction time that made me lose in the first round. I dialed in a 14.71 and ran a 14.81, and the guy I raced was farther off his time but had a better reaction time, so I lost. I didn't understand the numbers at all though.
I don't have my slip in front of me, but I seem to think my 60' time was 2.2 something. My best time was in one of the two practice rounds before the bracket racing began. Oh...and I totally FREAKING forgot to push the traction control button on every friggin' run (what a moron I was).

It's an hks knockoff....exactly the same as all the others. I think there's probably one actual manufacturer of these knockoffs and then all these other little no name companies slap there brand on it.
