Pulling trigger on MD exhaust
Fab and I were just talking about this when we saw each other last - he has fabricated extensions, I have the stock ones. I think these pictures I just took might help a lot.
So you can get an idea...

Another question. How does this exhaust sit in relation to the bumper? I have CS rear with CF diffuser. I want the tips poking out a little more than the stock exhaust
Only thing you can do is fabricate your own. The tips are adjustable, but the CS rear sticks out further than stock, so the tips are still sunken in even at their furthest point.

So even if i poke out the tips as far as possible it still will be tucked in with the CS rear? Dam :/
any DIY on how to fabricate an extension? Never done anything like that before.

Did you not see my post with 5 or 6 pictures in it at all?!
maybe the last time I go out of my way for that again.
As far as fabrication, all you do is find a 3in diameter pipe to weld onto the endpipe. It would take 20 mins if you knew how to weld. Shouldn't take a shop more than an hour to cut off 2-3inches of a 3in diameter pipe, weld, clean up, you're done. Doesn't have to be that pretty unless you're making your undercarriage show car worthy as well.

how is the overall length of this exhaust compared to stock exhaust? With the tips extended as far as possible the length of this exhaust should be longer than stock exhaust right?
