Hey guys I know we all try our best to keep our cars in the best possible condition and stuff. However, there are times that we do fall back on our maint. and stuff. I was just wondering whats the most overdue you've been on like an oil change ex. 2,000 miles over the 3750 mark or what. I was over 1,000 miles and my car was definitely driving funny. I had the oil changed at a local service station because I wouldn't be able to make it to dealer. The car definitely drives better. Anyone else notice the change?

I have been up to 10,000 miles overdue on a car before (company car, free to me). The car definately drove better after the oil change, but 30,000 miles later, its still fine.

However, I doubt 1,000 miles will make a big difference, unless you are racing.
