Poly IMO. We all scrape our fronts at some point so why risk cracking a plastic one?

PU, just make sure your painter uses flex seal or a good flexible primer or your your paint will lift off the surface at the first bend/bump.

Without a doubt you want polyurethane, nothing made with F/G will survive on our front ends or sides. You have several choices, shop our MARKETPLACE under vendor exterior. If IONIC makes one you like they're the "Go to Guys!" If you ask they'll even paint it for you....Gary

I bought a Gialla replica lip off of eBay.

For $110 shipped, fitment is decent, and it does a good job of protecting my car's bumper going in and out of sloped parking lots.

I think the "NISMO" lip is the poly lip that they sell on eBay as a "Type-R" lip. The one with terrible fitment that's actually a cheap knock-off of the OE sport lip.

I don't know about the G version of that lip, but I've heard kids who buy the same lip for their Zs have a lot of fitment issues.

Honestly I'd either look at the Gialla, or shoot Ionic a PM. Ionic is more expensive, but he stands behind his work, and it's pretty much a 100% guarantee that his parts will fit.

yea, i definitely dont want to have placement issues especially with the way the streets are in nj which makes me have doubt about a lip in the firt place. i took a look at the gialla and i dont really like the style , the ionic is sick, but its 900 for the kit , i pm'ed them to see how much just the front lip would be with out the skirts and stuff.!! i would get the kit but fixing my car after this hit is running me a few thousand already so if its to much ima hold off for a while and stick with a stock bumper

Let us know how much they say for a front lip only. I'd be interested to know as I'm looking at doing the same thing eventually.

funny how both ads say fits 03-06 coupes but the pictures are clearly the 06-07 sport bumper with the lip

do you even have a sport front? or non-sport front?

edit:

this add said will not fit with sport front

http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-Infini...de46cf&vxp=mtr

why use a picture of the sport front then?

I HATE eBay

Here's a decent (erm...terrible. Lighting is awful) picture of my car with the Gialla replica:

When I was looking at all the lips available for the G, I really didn't like the Gialla at first. But the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me. I ended up giving it a shot, and I'm actually pretty happy with the way it looks on the car. I'll have to get some more pictures now that I've got a better camera.

The only thing I think the G coupe really needs to set off a lip like the Gialla is a set of the Impul side skirts, being that they're a bit more aggressive than the stock skirts.
