If I ever need to reset the ECU using the pedals or do the idle relearn procedure, will this erase my Uprev Osiris tune? I would think you would have to flash the ECU to erase it but I want to be sure before the idle relearn.

 

I like to say no on this. i was talking to another people about this too before i get my tune. He said that the Tune is apart of your ECU now you can't get rid of it unless you take it back to the shop where you got it done.

 

Once your Osiris tune is encrypted the tuner is the only one that can change your settings unless you have optional settings which I declined....Gary

The only thing that can erase it is if you go to the dealer and get an ecu firmware update. They should always tell you before they do it however, so you can go back to your tuner and get the Osiris license pulled off the ecu. If you forget and they do it you're out $300 for a new license
