I've done them anytime I install any intake/exhaust mods, clean throttle body, or clean the MAF sensor.

 

That never needs to be done if you'll disconnect the negative side of your battery while cleaning or doing installs, but don't leave it for more than an hour the ECU will forget why it's there....Gary

 

I changed the exhaust and the pipe connecting to it with the battery connected. Should I run these peocedures just in case?

Don't leave the battery disconnected for more than an hour?


Anyone know what sound they are referring to in throttle valve closed position learning?

 

^ditto i dont hear **** when i do that but it seems so dummy proof that i jus assume it worked. they supposed to hear a click but i dont no matter how many times
