Mod G35 or save and buy a G37

Okay so here's the problem; I just bought a used g35 coupe with 64k miles for 13500 (a very good deal). I'm almost done paying it off but after that I was considering doing some mods on it. About 3000$ on the body,2000$ on wheels and maybe 3000$ on performance mods. I could go that route or I could save that money sell the car for 15000 (maybe or more) and buy a g37 6speed coupe. IMHO I find the g35 to be way sexier then the g37, although, i currently own a automatic and finding a used 6 speed with decent miles for a cheap price is almost impossible. So what should I DO? Thanks guys this is what I got so far.

Why I should go g37
Will last longer (hopefully)
Will cost less for maintenance
Will be a 6 speed manual
Will be faster stock for stock
Will make modding more tasteful being a manual

Why I should mod a g35
Thing will look hot as F-ck
Won't take as long to complete mod payments
Car will be payed off

Just keep the g35 and supercharger it. Play with it for a bit and wait for the 2014 infiniti G.

There already are rumors that there will be a 3.0L vq30 with a turbo (compete against 335i and audi S4), turbo 4 cyclinder (possibly from the mercedes 4 cylinder turbo, compete against 328i and c250) , and a modified VR/VQ 3.8L twin turbo for the IPL G (compete against m3, c63 and is-F).

The next gen g will be completely different with a different platform and is going to be more tuner friendly stock.

Haha yea I can't wait for the new G!! Matter of fact I was looking for some new info on it today but nothing so far. that 3.8 turbo sounds fantastic and competeting with the m3 would be awesome but I would assume it would come with a huge sticker price. Shoot if cost anywhere near the m3 I don't think I could afford it until 120k miles and 7 years were put on it lol.

Ehh I'm iffy on forcedinduction. Would hate to see my car blow or need major repairs after a few k miles. My friend with a 350z auto is putting a turbo in his so maybe...after I see how his holds up of course

If you want a stick just trade yours for a stick one. Or maybe sell yours and pay a little more. That way you get a stick shift and mod money.

The only thing I would invest in would be your current G35s appearance (keeping her spotless) which will help you sell her when the time comes. Few of us were happy with how the G37 turned out because the concept was way nicer. But it's always a good idea to upgrade what you drive so the G37 is the right move....Gary

I would go with the G37 because it looks newer and you will not lose as much money!

Keep the G35. You'll lose so much money in all the transactions plus the increased depreciation of the G37, not to mention that the G35 is just a way sexier car. Plus your ins will go up no doubt
