Question Will this rear diffuser perfect fit our 2004 G35 Coupe?

Hi all,

I know I am late in the game, but I finally have some spare change to buy my G a little decoration after 8 years.

I researched about rear diffusser on this forum. I saw posts about RevSpec and AutoX ones.

I dont' think this ebay version is either, but anyone had this installed on their G?

$129 seems to be a fair deal.

TIA!!

This looks like fiberglass wrapped in carbon fiber and cleared. typically, the fitment on that is horrible. But in all honesty, for 130, I'd just go for it. Worse case scenario, you gotta do some cutting and drilling. That's not to say that more expensive parts fit better (cuz sometimes they don't), but when something is 1/2 the cost of anywhere else, and nobody's heard of them, that's typically what you'll run into.

IONIC best vendor on DRIVER!

Here's a great forget buying trash on eBay that may or may not fit without recourse! Go to our MARKETPLACE under vendor exterior and find IONIC, they make a very cool NISMO diffuser that will fit like a glove and Jose will even have it painted for you.

DON'T buy it. I fell into the same trap.

Fitment is TERRIBLE. No matter what me and my buddy (a professional bodyman for 20 years) did to try and get it to stay seated, it would not fit right. Even after I hacked it up trying to get it to fit, I sent it back to the seller, and they refunded my money without question. I think they knew better than to try and fight me, considering I had sent them pictures of the fitment issues.

Save up and pay the extra cash for something that is known to fit very well. I'd rather wait an extra month to save $350 and get the Ionic diffuser than spend $200 less and get something that would cost me more time, effort, and money to make it fit. That's just me though.

I say go through Ionic too. Plus you can put an aftermarket exhaust on the one from Ionic also.

If Mr Brett bought the exact same one I am looking, then there's no way I will risk myself into something like that. And I don't have a 20 years bodyman beside me.

The IONIC seems to be the best choice to me.

A guy is selling me a N1 DTM carbon fibre rear diffuser-$250. I have no idea what a N1 DTM is. Anyone knows? $250 is a good price?

i bought when it was a little cheaper i think about a year ago at $110 shipped.

Its not a perfect fit, but i expected it given the price. But you can make it fit mostly. I put screws and flat head washers on the bottom and attached to the bumper to keep it attached. I then used some double sided 3m tape on the top half of the diffuser to keep it up.

I did the install in 30min, i had it for a year without any problems.

If i were to do it again, i would just epoxy it and take more time installing it. I attached some pics, the diffuser is slightly off on the left but i rushed it. If i took more time, it would look a little better but now i'm too lazy to fix since you can't really tell unless your really up close.

Its not something you would put on a show car but if its just something to show on the street you can't really complain given the price. I would put this as a decent buy long as you accept the fact the fitment won't be perfect and your willing to make it fit.

Here are some of the pics of the diffuser on my ride.
