Newbie Question: VPP "The Offer" Correct?

Hey everyone, I've been a member and been enjoying this forum and everyone's input on the G35c on every topic I can imagine. This is my first post and I've just placed $1,000 to reserve my spot for the next window of ordering the G (since I missed the last window for this month).

Basically, I'm asking anyone who has bought their car with VPP to see if what is below is the correct process since this will be my first purchase using such plans:

2005 G35 Coupe 6MT
Dealer Invoice - $30,350
VPP discount - $501
Subtotal = $29,849

Premium Pkg - $2,450
Aero Kit w/Spoiler - $1,200
Trunk Mat - $70
2.5% Delivery Fee - $759
Destination Charge - $590
Total = $34,918

7% Tax - $2,444.26
Registration/License Fee (1.5%) - $523.77
Final Total = $37,886

Am I pricing this right? Or should the options be based off of invoice prices as well? I haven't discussed offers yet with the dealer, just doing my research ahead of time. Any input would be great, sorry for a long post.

Thanks!

Yea thats about right, but goodluck finding a dealer who will honor the VPP on this car as I just found out the harsh reality of myself, I took my VPP claim number and wiped my a$$ with it on sunday as I walked out of the dealer paying MSRP (SoCal)

I have already found a dealer who said they will take it which was why I gave them $1,000 to hold a spot for me in the next order window and the guy I'm working with was pretty cool about it. However, negotiating the options may be a hassle.

Didn't I tell you in the past that getting VPP on a 6MTs is very hard hehe . But sux that they didn't take your VPP# though. Not a lot of dealerships are willing to do it for the 6MTs. AUTO?...a lot more dealerships are willing to do VPP with these though. Just that the 6MTs are so rare, they know not to go VPP with it or they will lose money or make very little money while they are at it. I know of two dealerships in Nor Cal that are willing to do it though, so I have some sort of options. My last resort was going to be getting it at GRUBBS instead. It's worth it though, buying out of town, sight unseen, just to save approx $3000 off MSRP.

One more thing, when doing VPP, I believe that the Destination Charges are only $545 or so, and not the full price. I think your numbers are sorta off though. My dealership quoted me approx $36K flat before tax and approx $39K after tax and reg for my car below. I still don't have a set date in which the car will be in though. Kinda sucks, I was hoping it was sometime this week though.
