Hit 100K Miles today.
Joined the high mileage club with my 04 6MT Coupe. Still love driving her every day. Don't plan to sell her until I'm past 200K miles...so another 100K to go!
I did go to take a pic and ended up with a very shaky video cause my iPhone was on video mode. I might post it later.

Well, I'd like to, but knowing myself I'll likely try to keep it alive forever so there will be no end - just a money pit (well, a much bigger one that it is now lol). So at one point I'd just have to shed a few tears and move on in some sort of an attempt to help my wallet.
Congratulations. Did you buy it new or used?
I'm a new owner of a used 07 6mt with 34k. Planning on full syn and keeping it a while. Your post encourages me. Thanks

My brother was the original owner of the car - he bought it new. He traded it in to a Mitsubishi dealer to buy an Evo 8 when the car had 21K miles on it and wasn't even 2 years old. Upon hearing how low of a price the dealer gave him (though, he did get a good deal because they modified other parts of the sales contract), we went to the dealer and (my dad) bought it back. They sold it to us for what they "paid" for it, and we got a screaming deal. The car was still worth what we paid for it 3 years and 20,000+ miles later.
However, because of my dad's long commute in traffic and the fact that the car is a 6MT, my dad rode his motorcycles to work and rarely ever drove it. About 9 months after we bought the car, I got my license and basically inherited it and became primary driver.
Unfortunately, 15K miles ago had a new engine put in because I had traded my brother my car for his truck for memorial day weekend (so I could go off roading) and he mis-shifted and hit 2nd after winding out 3rd. Engine RPM reached about 9K and blew the oil pump, but my brother continued driving it, thus destroying the engine. However, before my brother destroyed my previous engine, it was running very strong and I have no doubts it would still be running strong today had the incident never occurred.
These are great cars as long as you upkeep them well (which isn't cheap, mind you). I don't abuse mine but definitely do not baby it either. It gets driven.

Gratz on hitting 100k! I guess I don't really consider that high mileage, hopefully these cars can dip into the 200k range before needing to be replaced. Especially the NA stock ones. Obviously that demands good maintenance, good luck over the next 100k!
Honestly? None.
My engine is 15K miles old and the rest of my maintenance items are on 30K schedules (oil changes aside). Car doesn't need anything.
