Relocating my gas cap

I'm planning to relocate my gas cap to the trunk has anybody done this before if so please lmk and is it going to be hard? Threads would be nice too. Thank you.

I am doing a widebody conversion using 350z corner pannels and the gas cap is in the way so i am just going to shave it off.

Wait.. so when u fill up, ur gonna have to go through the trunk? Correct me if im wrong

Not really, people run fuel cells in the trunk all the time.

I shaved mine, but did not put it in the trunk.

Put it behind the taillight, close to the quarter panel and run an actuator to pop open the taillight..

Ive done that a few times, can use a hinge and a stong magnet to kep it shut

Lol you guys beat me too it. Behind the tail light would look clean and not retarded as to going to the trunk to fill up.
