Re: wait or order now..?

If you can wait until June, you might as well wait for the 2004's.

(I broke my own rule of buying a car in its first model year, but the G was so hot, I couldn't keep it in my pants.)

I highly doubt you will see the 2004 anytime soon... not until late fall if even then... look how difficult it is to get the one you want now... Unless you live in a major city the pickins are slim for alocations to most citys... I live near Portland, OR and I would have to wait at least 4 months to get the car I want.. not even special order... So if the car you want is ready in June I would grab it up... I know I am... good luck.!

I would put a deposit down now and make sure you can back out of the deal with no penalties. Most dealers dont care if you back out of a coupe order cause the car isn't going to sit long thats for sure. If you happen to find the car in June then get it and if not then you know the one you want will be in with your name on it in 3 months or so.

I waited 5 months after deposit, and there are no readily avialible coupes in so cal . On othere hand, I had refundable deposit for $500 so it was no-brainer.

Well Im over on the Island and I know that there arent many out there. Some do get their coupe by searching for it but be prerared to do a lot of searching. I would order It now if I were you Espically cause dealers will be placing their orders soon and if you are gonna order it you want to make the cut for may orders. I ordered mone in Feb and the dealer ordered it in march cause I just missed the cutoff because I was in the decision phase. mine should be in in about a month so it's up to you but you really have nothing to lose by ordering one.

Re: wait or order now..?

Definitely do both. Put a deposit down and order the car you want now. But comb the inventory listings on Infiniti.com and maybe you'll get lucky and find an unsold one you can buy earlier. If not, you know you'll get exactly what you want from the factory.

I don't think the dealer will have to worry about getting "stuck" with your old car when it comes in if you go buy another one. They're still flying off the lots.

Just make sure your deposit being refundable is in writing on your order form.
