Radar dectector wire routing

I purchased an Escort Passport 8500 x50. I am looking for suggestons on how to route the power wire from the dectector to a location under the dash.

I have an 04 6mt.

Is it difficult to remove the A pillar cover?

Just stick you fingers at the top part of it (where it meet the roof line) and pull it - it'll snap off.

*** BUT BE CAREFUL: WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE DOING THIS STEP - THE WILLOW PILLAR GETS STAINED EASILY !!!
