G35 strange smell?
Hey guys!
First off, I own a 2005 G35 Coupe, with 79K miles on it, I bought it from the dealership at 69K miles on it. Recently I've been off from school and left my car in the garage, when I notice something. When I'm driving and slowly reach 0 to 40, nothing is wrong, but when i floor it and hit around 65 or 70, I smell something strange in my cabin. I know at around 80k miles an Automatic Transmission flush is required, but I heard that it may do more harm than good? Could it be my vehicle needing the ATF, I got my oil changed about 1K miles ago..or could it be something else entirely?
sorry if there might have been an earlier post about something regarding the same thing, I just wanted to know what you guys have to say regarding my particular case, should it make a difference. lol!

You either need a new cabin filter or some new catalytic convertors.
If it's a damp, musky, moldy smell, it's definitely the cabin filter. If it smells like rotten eggs and such, you need new cats.
