HELP..Trunk Replaced Spoiler light not working

So I recently bought and OEM trunk for my 2006 g35 coupe off ebay with the spoiler. Before hand I had the trunk without the spoiler. I just installed the New trunk today and the spoiler light is not working. I thought once I plugged in the brown harness for the spoiler it would work fine, but it didn't. I checked the voltage coming from the harness, from the car, and there was none. Is there something I have to do with brake light on my rear deck window where the wire leads to? Everything else works fine just the spoiler light. Any ideas?

Thanks
Mike

Possible theres a fuse just for the brake light in the wing? May not be getting a good ground. Just shoot ideas out there.

The plug that comes from the car side should have voltage. Since it doesnt it could be a bad fuse or ground. Im not sure what circuit its part of but once u trace it u will know what to do.
