Bad front hub assemblies, or something else?

I noticed recently that when I'm pulling into a parking spot, when I turn the wheels, I hear a grinding noise. It almost sounds like a wobbling grinding sound. It makes that sound when turning either direction so I was going to order a pair of front hub assemblies, but thought I'd ask if this could be something else before I drop $300+ on parts that may not fix the problem.

Is this an obvious hub/bearing issue, or am I overlooking something else?

I'm just gonna bump this once and then take the car in to have looked at if no one chimes in. Does anybody believe the hub/bearing assemblies in the front are bad? Is it possible that something else is causing this problem?

Jack up the car and spin the wheels. If u can hear or feel grinding when u touch the upper A arm the bearing is bad. The 12 and 6 shake down didnt work for me but the wheel spin check did.
