question about JDM v35 auto tranny

hi to all .. this is my very first post here but i have kinda read alot on g35driver to gain knowledge on perfromance parts, dyno and tune

i have one question that mostly i cannot find the answer i have 2004 skyline 350gt rhd premium pretty much same like your i have 5 at with manumode shifting

g35 5AT tranny is same as v35 5AT tranny. i wanted to put some tranny upgrade like valvebody transgo if its same thing it will be alot eaiser for me to install in my car

to the best of knowledge they are the same, but i am not 100% sure, i would wait for a second oppinion

I would see if you can cross reference the part numbers for the transmissions or for the parts that would interact with the trans go, if they're the same then your good to go. But in reality I imagine they would be identical, it would only cost Nissan more money to support two different versions of the tranny for the G and Z

Jack up the car and look for a silver tag on the bottom of the tranny. It has the model number stamped on it. Im sure its the same.

thanks for your response tomorrow ill jack up the car and see what part number is written down there.. it will also help other v35 owners for future
