What to expect after a Deployment

First and foremost, I want to say this is my first post. WOOOH! I've tried searching for some info, but I cant quite get much. My question is, for anyone that's been deployed before for 7+ months and wasnt able to use their cars, or have someone run it for them at least.

What should I expect when I get back?

Ill have been gone for 7+ months, battery isn't connected, fuel tank is empty, oil was changed prior to me leaving back in March. And the car has a cover, but it is in the Florida summer (Jacksonville area)

Nothing really.

Fill up your tank and add one bottle of injector cleaner.

Check your battery if it is holding a charge. If yes connect it to the car.

All your oil will be on the bottom of your engine / oil pan.

Turn your ignition to on so gas pump would pressurize the fuel lines.

Crank the motor up and just let it run so all liquids will flow around and engine temperature will be up to normal.

Drive the car around the block so your tarnny fluid will circulate.

Thats it !

Btw if you have not changes your oil, do it first before cranking the car.

ok brother ive been thru this but a complete tune up wouldnt hurt ur rotors are gonna be rusted a little but as soon as u drive it around it will all come off and it also depends on where ur stationed at. replace all ur liquids oil, dif, trans and put in a good fuel system cleaner before u fill ur tank for the first time. any other questions hit me up brother

Good luck out there, keep your head down man

Cool. Thanks for all the advice! cant wait to get back now, got some cash saved up from this tax free, so hopefully I'll be able to start mods, new paint and possibly new interior.

The oil will be fine and you will probably have a dead battery. Ensure the fluids are at proper levels in case something was leaking. Just let the car warm up and take an easy since you probably have flat spots in the tires too.
