Cheap unregulated SMD leds that will burn out in a few weeks, and halogen projectors that are a disgrace compared to the OEM 06+ projectors.

Halos look decent on BMW's, these are screaming rice

They'd look nice on a black car if you're going for a black theme but that's about it

that's a load of uncle ben's right there.

installing those on your car will depreciate it by 30% immediately

I like em! and i have a black G with a blacked out theme so it goes well. But I checked on ebay for the 06 OEM lights and couldn't really find any good ones. Anyone have a good place to buy em? And are they plug-n-play on an '04?

For what you're going to pay for a set of '06 headlights, you'd be better off sending your '04's off to get them retrofitted with projectors. Just my $.02.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the fact that Nissan removed the lighted side strips from the '05 up headlights.

Who does retrofitting? I'd love to send mine off

I can't give you any definite stores or specialty shops, but if you go to Maxima.org, there's a member by the name of ChrisMan287 who does absolute top-notch work when it comes to retrofits. I believe there are a few sponsors here on Driver that will do retrofit/paint work as well.

The only reason that I suggest retrofits over 1.5 gen headlights is because if you're looking for that clean, projector cut-off output, you won't get it from the 1.5 gen headlights, as the projectors are frosted, and the shields Nissan use are shoddy.

Get them, install them and post pics. They might look different on the car.
